Welcome

Tuesday 17 August 2021

The IEEE ICIP Organizing Committee and the IEEE Signal Processing Society hope that you and your loved ones are faring well as the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic continues to ripple throughout the world.

While we were hopeful that an in-person event could be possible, unfortunately, travel ability and safety protocols have not substantially improved enough for most of us to attend and enjoy ICIP in Anchorage, Alaska next month.

After much thought and feedback from members of the ICIP community, ICIP 2021 will now be held as a virtual-only conference.

Though we face unforeseen challenges, we’re excited to explore new ways to innovate and provide our global community with even more opportunities to connect, collaborate, and discover the latest research and breakthroughs from image and signal processing professionals throughout the world virtually. The detailed program and events will be published on the website and shared soon.

The ICIP 2021 Organizing Committee and SPS Leadership have been working diligently to ensure that SPS conferences and events are handled with great care and consideration not only for everyone’s safety, but for continuing to foster dynamic, rewarding experiences for members and authors alike. We appreciate your continued understanding and patience as we navigate through this uncertain time together.

We look forward to seeing you virtually at ICIP 2021!

Kind regards,
Saif alZahir, Fabrice Labeau, and Kenrick Mock
General Co-Chairs, ICIP 2021
